Community Ambassadors are trusted connectors who help extend Creative Health UAE’s work into families, schools, community spaces, and wellbeing networks. They are members of the community who support access, awareness, and inclusion on a voluntary basis by helping communities connect with evidence-informed creative health programmes.

MA, MT-BC NICU Music Therapist, (USA) Kristal is an American board certified music therapist. She has over 13 years of experience working in the U.S.A., Qatar and Kuwait supporting families through their pediatric palliative, hospice and bereavement journeys. Kristal's experience working within multidisciplinary teams in a variety of healthcare settings has allowed her opportunities to understand the needs of families in a unique way. From supporting families through some of their most difficult moments to celebrating tremendous healing, her approach to supporting families continues to remain holistic, within a dynamic healthcare team, through innovative evidence-based practice. Kristal sees the importance and necessity in utilizing music as a therapeutic tool to build resilient communities and looks forward to seeing the standardization and incorporation of the music therapy profession throughout the region.
